It's good to see the ground is nicely thawed. I went to St Paul's Langford and found about 20 clads and Memorials. First time out this year.

Hopefully the any rain stays away. If so, I will get out again tomorrow. ]

I was out this afternoon a bit and found a hammered silver ring, possibly out of a silver quarter. Also found a 1907 IHC.

Went out Saturday got a bunch of junk at the park. Best find is a sterling silver necklace pendant. Glad to see the ground had thawed nicely and it was easy digging.

I found my first Barber today, a 1901-O dime. It's a bit worn and acidic stained, but it made my day.

Reeseb,  I tried uploading the photo from my phone, and I tried this before.  However, there was a message saying the photo exceeded the KB requirements.  I don't know if I am doing anything wrong, or just having bad luck.  I take the phone photo and get to the Forum and somehow that photo is too large to accept.  Any tips?  Thanks.  I photographed the reverse side, since the face side is quite acid stained.

By the way, Reese, I have your Best Find Award for the Old Gold Ladies Ring, found out of state category.  I will have it at the meeting next Tuesday.

Deane try emailing the photo from the phone to yourself. Usually the phone will ask you what size, use Medium. Save the photo from the email to your PC and the forum should post it from there.

Also check the editing features on your phone's photo app as there may be a way to resize within that app.

Here's the reverse side of the 1901-0 Barber dime. I decreased the photo resolution.

Thanks! I just needed to use some common sense.  My phone camera was set on the highest possible resolution, I put it way down, but I should get it back more in the middle range.  Now, I just have to work on rotation. Ha!

Thanks. Actually, that's my second silver of the year, the first a rogue ring. When you can find a Barber in April, life is good! I'm going to the Cabin Friday, and won't be back till Monday. I'm packing my White's, just in case.
